UPDATE!!!

It's no surprise my blog has been neglected for the past few months... I went through a horrific busy season at work.  I juggled going back to work from maternity leave in the midst of busy season, working 55-80 hour work weeks through mid-December and taking care of my baby and household in the process. 

It also should not be a surprise that I quit that job and found a new one.  I'm not saying it won't get busy, but hopefully it won't be anything like what I went through.  Looking back, I'm not even sure how I did it or made it through.  Seriously, one day we worked from 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. the next day.  It was RIDICULOUS.  And it's amazing how little you sleep you can get and still manage to function with the slightest bit of normalcy. 

With the new year, new job, new start... hoping things slow down and life gets back to normal FINALLY.  So far the new job seems to be going well.  It will offer new challenges and opportunities for me.  I hope Brianna can appreciate all of this one day... I won't lie and say it's easy - it's not.  But things will get better and our family will just keep getting stronger.

9-Month Check-Up

19 lbs. 6.5 oz.  28 inches long!!!

I can't believe Brianna is 9 months old!  Her check-up went really well, even though we went for another reason.  The daycare called thinking she had develped some sort of rash or infection from her diaper cream or diapers, but it turns out there were no issues.  Yay!  The doc said she is in the 50th percentile for height and 60th percentile for weight.  She's healthy and growing more everyday!  Thank goodness our baby girl is so blessed.  :)
